Birthday Bash!

We had a combined birthday bash for Zach and Nathaniel this year...their birthdays are only 23 days apart, so it was much easier to do one! We were able to plan a little better and invite friends!

Clark and Mason are our neighbors on the next street. The boys were so glad they were able to come! (Kaity's friend, Lauren, and her little sister, Emily, stopped by for the fun too!)

(Cousin) Austin and Noah came too! FUN! FUN!

We started in the backyard with a wet obstacle course! It had rained so much two days before, that by the time we were done...everyone was wet and a little (or a LOT) muddy!

Isn't it amazing how many kids you can fit into a baby pool???

We didn't end up timing anyone on the course...they all just did it for fun!

Posing for a picture before....CAKE!!!

THE CAKES!

16 candles between the 2 of them...it quickly grew to look like an inferno!

Winding up!

Action shot!

Drying off from the obstacle course and water balloons!

The birthday brothers!

Anticipation....

Me first!!!!

The girls wait patiently...

Finally...PRESENTS! Zach and Thaniel reading their cards Annie made! Zach's had a picture of Yoda on it, and Nathaniel's said "I see London, I see France, I see purple underpants!" We all got a good laugh with Nathaniel's card!

Star Wars T-shirts! COOL!

Some of the partiers watching the boys open presents.

Nathaniel got a new notebook and crayons! (Zach too!)

Zach's big present was a Nintendo DSi...we didn't get a good picture of it because Nathaniel inadvertantly opened it and thought HE got a DS!!!!
Midst the confusion...no picture. But here he is opening the starter set for it...Star Wars theme!

Posing for pictures...Nathaniel with Papa Chuck

Grandma and Papa Chuck with Zach

Nathaniel got a cool new Star Wars plane!

And a motorcycle puzzle he can paint!

But the thing they were both excited about...a Star Wars walker...an AT-TE! (Thank you, Toys-R-Us for GREAT SALES!)

Everyone had a good time, got wet and had some yummy cake!
(Thanks, Mandy for taking pictures to help make this blog entry possible!!)
